Is Kollaborate free to start?

Yes. Creating an account is free and you can browse right away. Businesses can post a limited number of offers for free; a Pro subscription unlocks more active offers and extra features. Creators use the platform for free and can optionally upgrade to Creator Pro for more visibility.

Am I a business or a creator?

Choose your role when creating your profile. Businesses look for creators to promote them; creators (with an Instagram audience) apply to offers. You can also combine both roles on one account later via your profile.

Which region does Kollaborate serve?

We focus on the Belgian market and hyperlocal collaborations. Businesses are checked via their KBO (company) number, so you know you are working with real, active local businesses.

How do I verify my business (KBO)?

During onboarding you enter your KBO number. We automatically check it against the official Belgian Crossroads Bank for Enterprises. This shows every creator that you are a real, active business.

How do I get a verified (blue) check as a creator?

Accepted Answer

Connect your Instagram account under your profile. Once connected, we show your real follower and engagement numbers and you get a verified badge. This significantly increases your chances of being chosen.

I can't log in or my password isn't working.

Use "Forgot password" on the login screen; you will get an email to set a new password. Check your spam folder too. If it keeps failing, send us a ticket below with the email address of your account.

Can I manage multiple businesses or accounts?

Yes. You can add multiple businesses and switch smoothly between accounts via the account switcher in your profile. Each business has its own offers and subscription.

How do I post an offer as a business?

Go to "New offer", describe what you are looking for (compensation, deliverables, audience and niches) and publish. Matching creators see your offer in Discover and can apply.

How do I apply to an offer as a creator?

Open the offer in Discover and tap apply. You can add a short motivation. The business can accept you, decline, or make a counter-offer. You follow everything under "My applications".

What is a counter-offer?

A business or creator can adjust the terms (e.g. compensation or number of posts) before you agree. Once both parties agree, the application becomes a collaboration.

How do I deliver my content and get paid?

After agreeing, you create the agreed content and submit it via the app. The business approves it, and the payout is released via Stripe to your connected bank account.

How do I get paid as a creator?

Payouts run through Stripe. You connect your bank account once via a secure Stripe onboarding ("Activate payouts" in the app). Stripe handles the identity check and pays your compensation directly to your account.

Why do I have to connect via Stripe?

That way Kollaborate never holds your money or your account number. Stripe handles verification, tax compliance and the actual payout. This is the standard and safest way for marketplaces.

When do I get my money?

As soon as the business approves your delivered content, the payout is released. It then follows the standard Stripe schedule to your bank account (usually a few business days).

"Activate payouts" shows an error.

This usually means the Stripe connection is not fully completed yet. Go through the Stripe onboarding to the end. If it keeps failing, send us a ticket with your account email and we will look into it.

What does a subscription cost?

Businesses can start for free and upgrade to a paid plan for more active offers and features. Creators work for free and can optionally move to Creator Pro. You will find the current prices on the pricing page and in the app when upgrading.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You manage your subscription via your profile. When cancelled, your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and then drops back to free. You lose no data.

Do I get an invoice?

Yes, paid subscriptions are billed via Stripe; you automatically receive an invoice by email. Need a customized invoice? Let us know via a ticket.

I have a promo code. Where do I enter it?

When upgrading in the app you will find a "Have a code?" field. Founding-member and promotional prices are applied there. Codes are single-use per user.

The app or website is not working as expected.

First refresh the page or restart the app and check that you have the latest version. If it still does not work, send us a ticket with your device, what you did and (if possible) a screenshot.

My Instagram connection is not working.

Preferably connect from a desktop or from the native app; some mobile browsers open the Instagram app instead of the connection page. Make sure your Instagram is a professional or creator account.

Can I use Kollaborate on my phone?

Yes. There is a native app (iOS) and the web app works on any device. You can also add the web app as a shortcut to your home screen.

How do I request a copy of my data?

In the app under your profile, choose "Export my data". We immediately send a complete, machine-readable copy (JSON) of your personal data to your inbox. This is your right of access and portability under the GDPR.

How do I delete my account?

Under your profile, choose "Delete account". Your account first goes into a 30-day soft-delete (recovery possible) and is then permanently deleted, subject to legal retention obligations.
